Zonta Van Den Goorbergh made his racing debut in 2019. That year he scored points in all rounds of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, where he finished 13th overall. At the same time, he also competed in several rounds of the European Talent Cup, with a seventh place at MotorLand as his best result. The Dutchman continued to participate in both programmes in 2020. He finished 8th in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and 2nd in the ETC with four wins and one podium. The 2021 season was spent in the Moto3 Junior World Championship, where he finished 17th, with two top 10s in Jerez and Misano. In 2022, he was handed his opportunity to ride in the Moto2™ class with RW Racing GP, performing well on a number of occasions but failing to register any points. Still young, the Dutch rider will be seeking to score his first points during the 2023 campaign.
