New challenges on the horizon ahead of MotoGP™ Fantasy in India!

With the Buddh International Circuit serving as a fresh challenge for MotoGP™ Fantasy, there's plenty to consider on a level playing field at the IndianOil Grand Prix of India

As MotoGP™ continues to broaden its horizons and reach a never-seen-before destination on the calendar, the MotoGP™ Fantasy stage is set with an unpredictable weekend of racing ahead. With plenty of questions to be answered, we're here to take you through everything you need to keep in mind ahead of MotoGP™ Fantasy in India!

Who were the Fantasy Dream Team last time out?

Having dominated proceedings last time out in Misano, Jorge Martin's (Prima Pramac Racing) Sprint victory coupled with his Grand Prix win bagged him the most Fantasy points making him the best possible pick for a Gold Rider at 47.5 points.

Joining the Spaniard in the Misano Fantasy Dream Team was the Italian Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team). Bezz pushed Martin all the way to take 2nd place in both the Sprint and Grand Prix. The Italian snapped up 39 Fantasy points at his home round.

The best pick for a silver rider in Misano was the reigning Champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team). Walking wounded, the home hero took the final rostrum spot on the San Marino GP podium, with a 3rd place in the Sprint and Qualifying tallying up 37 points for anyone who had the Ducati top dog in their Fantasy team.

Making out the Dream Team was Dani Pedrosa (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) on his wildcard appearance. The Spaniard enjoyed a successful return to the grid as he bagged two top-four finishes as well as 27.5 Fantasy points.

Who will reign supreme on an unseen battleground?

As attention turns to the IndianOil Grand Prix of India, there's plenty to consider in the search for the MotoGP™ Fantasy Dream Team. Gamers have the opportunity to make two changes to their team in hopes of forming the dream lineup for the Buddh International Circuit.

Francesco Bagnaia is usually a safe bet at any circuit on the MotoGP™ calendar! There are some big questions to be asked of the Italian however as a blank page coupled with his lingering injuries may still hinder the defending champ. The #1 has had a bit of time for recovery since Misano, and you wouldn't put it past Pecco to pull out a Champion's ride on Sunday. Priced at 4.9M however, it will be important to see how the Ducati man copes with Friday's practice sessions before committing a Fantasy gold spot.

Bagnaia's close friend and Championship rival will be eager to get the better of him this time out. Priced at 3.5M Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) has points to make up in the title race, and will be eager for a solid performance after being forced to settle for 2nd place behind Jorge Martin at his home circuit.

Jorge Martin himself cannot be discounted by any means. The Spaniard put in an inch-perfect performance in his title rivals' back garden and arrives in India with bags of confidence. Martin could very well be man on the money this weekend for 4M. Whilst the Misano victor will have to start a blank slate at a circuit he's never ridden. Martin remains Bagnaia's closest title competitor and will be eager to strike whilst the iron is hot.

Equally, the Aprilia's can never be discounted either! Aprilia Racing's Maverick Viñales (2.4M) and Aleix Espargaro (3.7M) arrive at the Buddh International Circuit eager to return to podium glory. A difficult home round for the Italian manufacturer saw the duo walk away empty handed and hungry for some silverware.

The two Red Bull KTM Factory Racing riders of Brad Binder and Jack Miller cannot be discounted either, and priced at 3.2M and 2.2M could be strong choices for your MotoGP™ Fantasy team. Both riders have shown strong form this year and will be keen to make amends following a tough couple of weekends.

The stage is set for what has the potential to be another incredible weekend in India. Make sure to join in on all the MotoGP™ Fantasy action throughout the weekend, and ensure you don't miss a thing with the action underway from Friday 22nd September on motogp.com!
