Oliveira declared fit for Americas GP

The Portuguese rider will be back in action at COTA having been forced out of Round 2

Having had to sit out Round 2 of the 2023 World Championship following an injury picked up during the opening weekend in Portimao, Miguel Oliveira returns to action at the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas. The CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP™ Team rider passed his medical test at the Circuit of the Americas on Thursday and will compete throughout the weekend’s action.

The Portuguese rider damaged a tendon in his right leg following a collision with Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez early on in his home GP race, and was forced to sit out the Argentina GP as a result. However, having travelled to Austin in the hope he could participate, Oliveira received the good news on Thursday morning after a visit to the doctor’s office. Welcome back Miguel and we're looking forward to seeing you and your RS-GP contend for honours.
